You're the Best! I miss you so much. Did you take a quick trip from the other side to help as I accompanied the children singing on Sunday? Thanks for everything you ever gave me, Royce, my beloved piano teacher and friend!

Thought to Ponder
- "To be nobody-but-yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody but yourself--means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight--and never stop fighting." -- e. e. cummings
ABOUT ME *
My name is Janet and I live in the beautiful Salt Lake valley bordered on the east by the Wasatch mountains and on the west by the Oquirrh mountain range. The Great Salt Lake is north and west of where I live.
My husband Art and I have been married for 50 plus years--hard to believe!
I have a quirky sense of humor, I am more creative than organized,I like to teach and listen, I love being in nature and I like to write.
I love the ocean, holding hands with Art, the smell of autumn leaves, being in the mountains or in red rock country, the sound of water, each shade of green in the UK, being with good friends and hearing music that touches my heart
You will often find me reading, doing handwork, scrapbooking, watching PBS, or, more likely than not, sitting at the computer. I enjoy journaling and music, especially learning more about how to play the cello.
This site is dedicated to noticing the good in life.
Love and blessings, Janet

strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about
prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up
by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage
by taking away people's initiative and independence. You cannot help
people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."
