One of the Bassett pups was enjoying the attention given by Alyssa. He even climbed on her lap to lick her face. After he and his brother left, along with Chris and family, I noticed her face--it was covered with hives. I'm so sorry Alyssa, that you have to pay that allergy price when interacting with animals. I, too want to express my sympathies to Alyssa; you are amazingly tolerant to begin with, and I am so proud of you for your efforts. I am glad that I am NOT allergic, as I love my babies!
And the kicker for Alyssa is animals love her and can't seem to get enough of her! They can see she's a good soul, perhaps. :-)
