I must have scanned Heather's blessing dress upside-down. Love that little flower on the ruffle by the neck. Seeing the scan brings back tender feelings. This little dress was well-worn. I put it on her each Sunday until she outgrew it. So it is not in good enough shape to pass along. Anyway, Heather will want the privilege of finding or making a new dress for her baby girl due to arrive in July. We can hardly wait to meet her!

Blessing Dress
I must have scanned Heather's blessing dress upside-down. Love that little flower on the ruffle by the neck. Seeing the scan brings back tender feelings. This little dress was well-worn. I put it on her each Sunday until she outgrew it. So it is not in good enough shape to pass along. Anyway, Heather will want the privilege of finding or making a new dress for her baby girl due to arrive in July. We can hardly wait to meet her!

What a beautiful post! I didn't realize that I wore my blessing dress every week. What a fun thing to learn! Baby girl will be so happy to meet you too!
I am always amazed at how a picture can bring back so many memories. . . It seems like yesterday when she was in that dress. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
I found a dress like that in a thrift store a few years back. It was old but I just loved it. I kept it and Evy wore it in her famous "Valentine's with Monkey" picture. Maybe Baby girl can get dressed-up in her mama's dress just for fun someday.
